The HLSI is licensed for Civil Marriage ceremonies. The licensed areas are the Members’ Room, which can accommodate 50 people (including 2 Registrars), the Coleridge Room, which accommodates 15 and the Victoria Hall, which accommodates 80.
Ceremonies may be booked with or without a reception afterwards.

We have been central to Highgate's varied cultural life since we were established in 1839. One of the oldest such institutions still in existence in London, we are situated in the heart of Highgate Village, overlooking Pond Square, in the building to which we moved in 1840.
What we say:
This is an interesting venue that would clearly be perfect for Members, but it's also a lovely unique space for intimate to larger ceremonies. Well worth consideration.
