Alexandra Peterken is an artist originally from the North-East of the UK but is now based in East London.
Alex creates live, illustrative portraits of wedding guests, by taking photos of guests on her phone, and then drawing directly from the image using watercolours and pens. Each A5 artwork is hand-drawn within 10-15 minutes, and then gifted in a protective, bio-degradable film sleeve.
The illustration paper can be personalised to include the newlywed’s name and wedding date. The service time can be between 4 - 6 hours, with many couples opting to have Alex during the reception and wedding breakfast as an option for entertainment, as well as producing personal wedding favours for guests to take home.
