Not a Secret Society, Instead a Unique Wedding Venue

The Honorable Society of Grays Inn is one of four London-based Honorable Societies, the smallest in size yet the one with the biggest grounds and the only one that is licensed for weddings in Camden.

In existence for over 600 years it is steeped in the traditions of the legal profession. For those not ‘in the know’, it is one of the four UK professional bodies for judges and barristers and a place where many have their Chambers (offices). This amazing venue is available seven days a week for licensed Wedding Ceremonies as well as also for sumptuous receptions and full evening parties.
Based in the heart of the legal area around Holborn and Chancery Lane it’s not immediately obvious that you are a stones throw away from beautiful buildings, rooms and halls and five acres of leafy grounds known as “The Walks”.
They boast two licensed rooms – The Large Pension Room and The Elizabethan Hall available for 120 and 180 respectively for Ceremonies. The former can also be transformed into a fine dining experience for the more intimate seated receptions – complete with silverware and candles; the later with it’s historic oak-panels and carvings can be set up with round tables or long bench style for wedding breakfasts and receptions (with a nod to Hogwarts never far from your mind).
Even larger receptions, dances and celebrations can take place in the marquee on the grounds. Seating up to 270 people and offering a wide range of catering options.
The banqueting and events team members are really keen to help you shape your perfect day, offering package deals as well as great ideas for ultimate flexibility for maximising the use of the various rooms and green spaces. You get all the luxuries of a one-stop shop venue with tremendous scope to make it truly unique.
